Prayer

We believe that we are called to be a house of prayer for all nations - - therefore, prayer is key to all that we do, and it is featured and highly encouraged both in church and at home amongst our members throughout the week.

Membership

At Overcomers, we exist to bring glory to God by making disciples through gospel-centered worship, gospel-centered community, gospel-centered service and gospel-centered multiplication. This is our mission and process for discipleship!

Youth

We believe that Christ is an exciting, life changing and transforming God who loves to make a difference in the world through young people. We want to see each young person build friendships, encounter the love of God, be encouraged, changed and equipped to impact their world by God’s power!

Music

When we gather, we sing a mixture of standard hymns and new selections that help to stir our souls in celebration to our great Savior and King. Worship is not merely a religious activity. We desire to encounter God, to hear His voice and to experience the presence of the Holy Spirit.

Community

We are a church that believes in Jesus Christ as our personal Savior. We are a community with a vision to love God and His people, and influence the world around us. We strive to be a multi-generational and multi-cultural church located in the heart of Detroit, MI.
